Fly Dundee unveils new low-cost open return and enhanced 24-hour timetable

Fly Dundee has announced a series of upgrades to its Edinburgh Airport service this year, including a significant reduction in ticket prices and the introduction of an improved 24-hour timetable.

From this month, passengers travelling between the City of Discovery and Edinburgh Airport can purchase an open return ticket for £18, valid for six months — a saving of £10.50 on the previous open return fare.

The new ticket allows customers to travel for just £9 each way at a time that suits them, offering added flexibility for frequent flyers, students, business travellers and holidaymakers.

The new pricing is accompanied by a revised timetable featuring increased services which will provide an additional 560 seats each day.

Together, the enhanced timetable and ticketing options respond directly to customer feedback, making it easier than ever to plan journeys around flights, work commitments and leisure travel.

Stephen Riggans, Area Director, said: “These improvements reflect what our customers have told us they want and need from the service. We have significantly reduced the cost of an open return to £18 – a saving of over £10 – providing passengers with greater choice, flexibility, and value.

“With more than 500 passenger seats also added to our 24-hour timetable, the new enhanced Fly Dundee service reinforces our commitment to providing a convenient, affordable and stress-free connection between Dundee and Scotland’s busiest airport.

“Whether travelling for work, heading off on holiday or visiting friends and family, Fly now offers an even simpler way to reach Edinburgh Airport.”

To celebrate the launch of the improved 2026 service, Fly is also running a social media competition on its Fly coach channels, giving customers the chance to win a pair of free return tickets to Edinburgh Airport.
